MONOGRAM NECKLACE

This past week has been incredibly busy – I was in NYC for a few days, shooting with Olivia and Joy for their upcoming launches (!!), met Carrie Underwood, attended meetings, had a packed weekend of high school football & Christmas parties, and found out I have bronchitis and an ear infection. I guess the go go go and cold has caught up with me and yesterday I just needed a major break. I ended up staying in bed til noon and just tidying up my place, staying far away from my computer and anything work related. Sometimes it’s healthy and necessary to just ‘detox’ from it all and give yourself a break, and that’s what I needed in a major way.

I got this coat years ago at Old Navy and it has remained one of my favorites in my closet. I always get tons of compliments on it too. I highly suggest investing in an eye worthy cream or off white coat. It’s a bit high maintenance, but so worth it and adds such a chic touch to any look. I also scooped up this cozy cowl neck sweater a few weeks ago since it’s on major sale. I am tempted to get another color since I have been wearing it so much. I love how full the neck is and the material is heavier so it’s nice and warm!
