Fall Transitions {Style}

It seems as soon as New York Fashion Week is over that fall magically hits us - the day after I came home the air was suddenly brisk in the morning and had a little touch of fall crispness to it. I couldn't help but want to wear a scarf and feel cozy! Not to mention I returned home to find myself with a lung infection and a few other health issues -- not to worry, I'm feeling much better now after two weeks of rest and a few other things to cure my ailments.

I picked up this simple white top + pair of boyfriends jeans at Zara during a little Soho shopping afternoon with Style Activist and Bows and Sequins during my last day in the city. They're two necessary staples in any closet and it was time for some fresh, new ones for fall. These are two easy transitional pieces -- worn alone, warmed up with a scarf, or layered with a sweater or jacket.

These Seychelles wedges + Zara scarf are two of my closet favorites - I love the mix of prints + color in this scarf, and these wedges are the most comfortable pair of heels/wedges I own hands down.
