I'm head over heels for this new Zara jacket that happily arrived on my front step a few days ago. I had been coveting it on the site for weeks and finally had enough; I couldn't resist! Punched those CC digits in and in a flash it was mine! It's perfectly lightweight and the detailing is phenom - can we just say obsessed with studs? Sure, that's me at the moment.
I'm also embracing the 'mixing' trend if you will - mixing textures, colors, and more. My inner stylista gravitates towards simple colors, textures, and basics, but I've taken to expanding and going a bit outside my comfort zone (something Kendall would appreciate!) Let's take a peek at it:
1. Colors: I started with silver jewelry but couldn't help adding in my new gold pieces (snatched for mere nothing at H&M!) I've never been one to mix gold + silver, but honestly it's not as bad as it sounds. Try it! And let me know if you do.
2. Textures: This Zara jacket is a linen material, a little heavier than your typical linen but still lightweight enough to wear on a semi-warm day, like I did. Paired with uber-lightweight flowy shorts and you have completely different textures that just smooth right together. And of course, a nice lightweight cotton tee in the mix. The different textures create a unique and unexpected dimension for your outfit!
